After booking, there are essential documents I need that will allow me to begin preparing for your checkride. Please send:
GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID
US Citizens: CDL or Passport
if your place of birth was not the US, please provide a current US Passport or, citizenship paperwork with a government ID
Foreign Pilots: Passport, Dates showing your approved length of stay in the US, and your notice from TSA authorizing training
FAA CERTIFICATE - front and back (back must be signed)
Please note, if you possess an FAA certificate with a nationality other than USA, AND you have since become a citizen, please see the page "Foreign Students." You must go to the FSDO to change your citizenship PRIOR to any checkride.

If you took it more than one time, I need all copies.
WHEN CREATING YOUR PICTURES/PDFs FOR SENDING: It is very helpful if
the documents are in color
rotated so that they are upright
include the front and the back (CDL & Certs with the back of the Certificate signed)
both pages from paper logbooks are in the same picture
ENDORSEMENTS AND PAGES OF LOGBOOKS
The more information I have ahead of time, the smoother the validation process will go. After you send the above documents, please send
verification of experience: this can be pictures of your logbook or the uploaded electronic logbook (not abbreviated)
time permitting, I can try to verify that all requirements are met. If something is missing, you can get it done beforehand.
endorsements: for the Private Pilot, this is the one that has the most errors.
record of ground and flight: depending upon which program you are in (61 or 141) and which certificate you are seeking, there is required training that must be logged, for both the ground and the flight. I have created tables to help ensure none of these REQUIRED ITEMS are missing. These can be found under the Instructors tab. Please show your instructor this page!!!
ground training certificate: if you attended an online or in-person ground school, please include the certificate. For both 61 and 141, it must have the following regulations on it and it must be signed by an authorized instructor. If either are missing, you will need the endorsement that contains these regulations: please show this to your instructor!!!
Private: 61.35(a)(1), 61.103(d), and 61.105: Aeronautical Knowledge
Instrument: 61.35(a)(1) and 61.65(a) & (b) - Aeronautical knowledge test
Commercial: 61.35(a)(1), 61.123(c), and 61.125 - Aeronautical knowledge test
aircraft documents: Airworthiness, Registration, W&B, Annual/ELT, Pitot/Static, if the required ADs were met on the last 100 hr, please send those inspections, master AD list or the list of the recurring ADs for your aircraft and the last time that AD was inspected.
If I regularly test with your school, I am most likely familiar with the aircraft you are using and will not need this ahead of time.
